Living Happy IBS Sufferers of 2017

Why dwell? Live happy IBS style! Irritable Bowel Syndrome doesn't have to dictate your life or ruin it forever. This is a very manageable disorder.I like to see the glass half full, I think that’s how all of us need to look at our lives and especially this illness.  Living Happy IBS style!

Our world is filled with violence, discrimination, hate and competition.

It breaks my heart that we are so focused on these things and the media only blows these problems out of proportion and into major problems.

While IBS sounds like an overwhelming and horrible illness, it’s really not that bad.

I’ve watched plenty of people with IBS do nothing but complain and put themselves down, which won’t get them anywhere past misery.

Forget all of that!  I want to talk to you about happiness and the steps to find that happy place with IBS.

Struggles Equal Strength

I can’t tell you that it’s simple learning to live with IBS.  I went through what seemed like millions of doctor appointments, medications, tests, you name it!

It’s very common to develop depression from IBS, it’s a huge lifestyle change and the beginning is usually the toughest.

I was constantly depressed in the early days of my IBS journey, how would I ever get better??

Your IBS struggles with help give you strength, strength over time will lead to less sadness and anger as you learn to adapt.

As your disorder becomes easier to manage, it becomes easier to create happiness.

Here are some tips from my personal journey on how to live with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

My Outlook On Life and Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Out of my 25 years, only nine of them have endured IBS symptoms.

In the beginning it didn’t seem fair or make sense as to why I had to have these issues.

However, it also forced me to do a lot of research and learn about illnesses much worse than mine.

Every time I had a low symptom or symptom-free day, I would feel grateful for that day.

After you have even two bad days in a row, that one good day is like the sun shining through your window after a big storm.

Celebrate these victories!

Steps To Living Happy IBS Style!

Why dwell? Live happy IBS style! Irritable Bowel Syndrome doesn't have to dictate your life or ruin it forever. This is a very manageable disorder. My best piece of advice is to always take things one day at a time, otherwise it can be overwhelming learning to live with IBS.

It takes time and practice to bring happiness into your life, start small and keep going!

Focus on what you have instead of what you don’t.  Remind yourself that this is a disorder and not a deadly disease.

It’s also important to only surround yourself with positive influences and people that are going to be part of your support-system.

Toxic relationships have no room in your happy lifestyle, they will only add stress and bring you down (I know this isn’t what people want to hear, but I can tell you it will make all the difference in your life)!!

The Secret (Extended Edition)The Secret (Extended Edition)

This DVD is very near and dear to my heart.

I first watched this with my family ten years ago when I was 15 and it completely changed the way I look at life.

I never thought about anything the way this video described, it opened a whole new world of opportunity to my young mind.

I never went back to the overly-pessimistic lifestyle I lived since I saw this for the first time.

While I’ve had some short periods of depression and negativity, like when I was first diagnosed with IBS, I reminded myself of this by watching it again.

The Secret is a perfect introduction to living a fuller, happier life by shifting your thoughts.

You can absolutely relate these concepts to Irritable Bowel Syndrome or any life struggles.
