Real Talk: IBS and Hypnosis

Learn about IBS and hypnosis. Hypnotherapy can be extremely beneficial to people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Seriously, IBS and hypnosis, is it a thing??

I generally get reminded of cartoons when I think about hypnosis.

I imagine a dangling pocket watch, swaying back and forth, with the hypnotist saying “you’re getting verrrry sleeeepy”.

All jokes aside, IBS and hypnosis do share a relation and often it’s very positive.

This post will be short and sweet, but it gets right to the point, the good stuff you won’t want to miss out on!

Hypnotherapy and IBS

I would’ve never put IBS and hypnosis in the same sentence on my own.

I was very intrigued while researching this topic, I had no idea that hypnosis could be so effective.

The research is all there, it doesn’t lie (let me be clear for a second, legitimate research doesn’t lie, research wisely).

I’m pretty sure this is something that I “accidentally” found out about when I was researching another IBS topic years ago.

BUT, hypnosis and IBS could be a top IBS treatment option in our world.

Have you ever checked out real hypnosis?  I have.

Can you imagine a non-physically invasive treatment for IBS?

Any treatments that I have undergone include medications which come with a high price (both literally and in the sense of side effects).

Hypnosis simply influences the mind.

Self Hypnosis IBS Treatment Vs. Professional Hypnotherapy

You have two options and both of them are fantastic!

Did you know that you can hypnotize yourself, at home??

You totally can and it’s super easy!

How cool is that?!

Before I go into detail about self hypnosis, what about a professional hypnotist?

IBShypnosis.com is a great resource for IBS and hypnosis.

IBS hypnosis says that “It is one of the most successful treatment approaches for chronic IBS”.

I can’t believe this isn’t talked about more.

I feel like people are quick to turn down something like hypnosis if they don’t believe in it.

With any treatment, believing plays such an important role in the success of the treatment.

Don’t underestimate the power of the mind.

Our minds are much more connected to the gut than you may think.

This is a great alternative to prescription medications and other unnatural products.

Look for hypnotherapists in your state here.

Hypnosis At Home

It is 100 percent possible to hypnotize yourself.

Here are some great beginner hypnosis tracks below.

Michael Sealey has a very relaxing voice and his tracks have really helped me and opened my eyes.

I highly recommend the “Self Healing Energy” hypnosis track for IBS symptoms.

All three are amazing and can be beneficial in their own way.

Taking charge of other aspects of your life like sleep, stress, depression and negativity, can reduce IBS symptoms.

  1. Oh I totally believe in hypnosis! I think our minds can be so vulnerable to just about anything. This image is a jpg so I’m shocked that it can trick my eyes like this. Amazing!

  2. I’ve always heard about hypnosis but I actually not sure if I will believe, because I’ve no experience. But this post really made me interesting! 🙂

  3. I’ve never tried hypnosis either, but I have read nice things about it. Like how it cures insomnia and depression, that kind of stuff. 🙂

    • His voice is so relaxing and calming, love his hypnosis tracks! The first one I ever tried was to get rid of negativity and I was shocked by how awesome the results were.

  4. I’ve done Hypnotherapy before; I actually quite like it. I believe that the power of the mind is limitless and endlessly powerful. We can do anything with our minds!

  5. This is great news for people suffering from IBS. It would be nice to be able to be relieved of the symptoms of the disease through a non-invasive procedure or downing a bag of pills. I will share this information if I come across someone with IBS.

  6. wow, hadn’t heard this one yet. interesting. I’ve been dealing with IBS and have had it under control with my diet and how i live my life. it has truly changed.
